In the 5th minute of the match Maximiliano Satordi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Rodas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Passionate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Gualterio Richie scored to the left of an out of position Filomeno Rodas, making the score, 1-0. Placido Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jaime Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Jerold in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Elixio saved Muerte FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Leoncio got free with Filomeno Rodas in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muerte FC's goalkeeper Jaime Elixio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aquilino Jerold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jaime Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Elixio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Francesco went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes, Rodrigo Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muerte FC and the Passionate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Muerte FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Batista. After 46 played minutes, Passionate's Ladislao Reno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Elixio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Passionate reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Francesco to strike the kick off in the second half. Aquilino Jerold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Filomeno Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Richie in the 61st minute of play. Muerte FC's Gualterio Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Gustavo Rius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Passionate and the Muerte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gualterio Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Rodas having to interfere. Filomeno Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Richie in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Aquilino Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passionate's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Jerold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Elixio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Muerte FC's zone, Placido Francesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Elixio came out of the goal and Placido Francesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Muerte FC's Jaime Elixio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Muerte FC from getting a goal against them. Aquilino Jerold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Elixio having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Aquilino Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passionate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Jerold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Placido Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Jerold struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jaime Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passionate. In the 91st minute, Placido Francesco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Elixio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 96 minutes into the match, Passionate's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Richie came free, but Filomeno Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Passionate players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
