Damian Gotzon came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Miraflores FC's Freddy Evis. But to his dismay, Freddy Evis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Miraflores FC's Melquiades Aritza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Gotzon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Melquiades Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Aritza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The nice shot from Freddy Evis in the 27thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Damian Gotzon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 37th match minute, Miraflores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Basajaun to maneuver through the defense. If Melquiades Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Evis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Gotzon having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Melquiades Aritza made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Miraflores FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Clodoveo Sancho hit a great ball. Flavio Modestio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Damian Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Evis in the 55th minute of the match. Arsenio Sazon's late challenge caught a Miraflores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Sazon helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Anier Mosen hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Teofilo Tallia kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 68 minutes Miraflores FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zeledon Nel who took care of the corner kick. The corner led cerrito sp's Zeledon Nel to fire away a dangerous shot which Isaias Ignazio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Teofilo Tallia notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of cerrito sp's Damian Gotzon. Damian Gotzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Flavio Modestio fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored cerrito sp's protests and gave Flavio Modestio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, cerrito sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Modestio to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Modestio got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 81 played minutes cerrito sp got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Modestio. cerrito sp's Damian Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Evis in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Miraflores FC's goalkeeper Isaias Ignazio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Nafarroa. If Melquiades Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes cerrito sp got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Sazon. Miraflores FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
