Maximino Raitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Nayely having to interfere. In the 26th minute Isaias Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maximino Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes, German Maurin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Bañil and the Chacarita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. German Maurin got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Real Bañil getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. German Maurin hit a great ball. Bernardino Urti, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Raitin in the 47th minute of play forced Real Bañil's goalkeeper Romulo Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Crescencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Real Bañil's Jonathan Crescencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Raitin ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chacarita FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Bañil.
