The supporters of Duraznito booed when Verón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Errolan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duraznito's Cipriano Silbestre got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Verón getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aurelio Pirro hit a great ball. Aurelio Pirro charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Pirro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Silbestre in the 10th minute of play forced Verón's goalkeeper Jesus Prejun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. With a little luck, Verón's Jesus Prejun got control of the ball when Amadeo Natal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Cipriano Silbestre elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Favila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duraznito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verón the free kick. In the 17th minute, Arnoldo Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Verón's goalkeeper Jesus Prejun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Marko. Duraznito's Leandro Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Kimetz in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Verón's zone, Gogo Asier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Prejun came out of the goal and Gogo Asier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Verón's Jesus Prejun got control of the ball when Amadeo Natal tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The wind increased when Jairo Cordero made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Duraznito getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Amadeo Natal hit a great ball. If Cipriano Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cipriano Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Prejun having to interfere. Jesus Prejun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Marko's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Silbestre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Prejun was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Duraznito's Cipriano Silbestre got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Verón's Jesus Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Silbestre in the 89th minute of play. Cipriano Silbestre struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jesus Prejun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duraznito. Verón's Jesus Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Natal in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
