In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malota AFC's goalkeeper Angelo Firme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Confesor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Firme was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. A collision led to Yacanto getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jonathan Theobald hit a great ball. Jonatan Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Lizardi in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Yacanto's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lizardi came free, but Jonatan Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Felipe Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match, Julio Cayo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonatan Garikoitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Lizardi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Garikoitz saved Yacanto from getting behind. Tobias Abadia struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Angelo Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yacanto. After having played for 40 minutes, Julio Cayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malota AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Cayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Firme having to interfere. Tobias Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Firme having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Malota AFC's Teodosio Alvarez got a free kick in the 47th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Abadia in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Firme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Lizardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Yacanto's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Cayo came free, but Jonatan Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Firme having to interfere. Angelo Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Tiburcio Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jonatan Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Yacanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Theobald to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivan Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Malota AFC had won after a very even match.
