When Eliseo Guerau came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Unquillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Guerau couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, chauu's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Etor came free, but Carmelo Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Unquillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Quentin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Guerau in the 19th minute of play forced chauu's goalkeeper Carmelo Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Robustiano Etor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Segio in the 29th minute of play forced Unquillo AFC's goalkeeper Aquiles Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Segio in the 30th minute of the match. Eliseo Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Unquillo AFC's Aquiles Tabor got control of the ball when Celedonio Crispo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Robustiano Etor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmelo Ortzi. chauu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Etor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Unquillo AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reynaldo Segio 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

57 minutes into the game, Marco Quentin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unquillo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chauu the free kick. After 57 played minutes Unquillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Quentin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Segio in the 59th minute of play forced Unquillo AFC's goalkeeper Aquiles Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, chauu's Reynaldo Segio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Tabor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Eliseo Guerau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carmelo Ortzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Guerau slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Unquillo AFC's goalkeeper Aquiles Tabor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Unquillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Quentin to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Ortzi having to interfere. Carmelo Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Guerau in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Eliseo Guerau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Carmelo Ortzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 minutes, Rodolfo Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the chauu and the Unquillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Unquillo AFC's Alfonso Ferman tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Robustiano Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
