Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marciano Sanchez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Pomona FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Sanchez. After 4 played minutes, Defensa y Pinina's Jaime Orlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ceferino Calvet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensa y Pinina reached it. Ceferino Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Segio in the 5th minute of the match. Hermengildo Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ceferino Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Jonathan Segio had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Leonides Nerio fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pomona FC's protests and gave Leonides Nerio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pomona FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Leonides Nerio hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Hermengildo Senon put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ceferino Calvet. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hermengildo Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensa y Pinina's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Senon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Calvet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hermengildo Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Senon in the 27th minute of play. Hermengildo Senon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Calvet having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, Pomona FC's Rolando Quiroga made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Henric was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marciano Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Henric having to interfere. The supporters of Pomona FC booed when Defensa y Pinina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Henric having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Marciano Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arsenio Quintyn was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in Defensa y Pinina's zone, Marciano Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Henric came out of the goal and Marciano Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute Hermengildo Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ceferino Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Senon charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermengildo Senon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Rolando Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Henric was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 76th minute, Marciano Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Pomona FC booed when Defensa y Pinina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Sanchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Henric read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Marciano Sanchez came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pomona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Sanchez couldn't finish the play. Rolando Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Aristides Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a long run with the ball, Marciano Sanchez did a trick in the 90th minute in front of Defensa y Pinina's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-1. An impressive performance by Pomona FC's Marciano Sanchez!
