Marcos Odilons short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Ceferino Calvet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Marcos Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pomona FC's Ceferino Calvet got control of the ball when Marcos Odilon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Danel in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Calvet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ceferino Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Danel in the 39th minute of play. Ceferino Calvet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Odilon went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

RIVPLATECH's attentive Ramiro Argi managed to snatch the ball when Rolando Quiroga made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Ramiro Argi charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Argi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramiro Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Flavio Danel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Danel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Calvet having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match Eugenio Edwardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Calvet skillfully saved the ball. Pomona FC's Rolando Quiroga got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Rolando Quiroga off the ground. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RIVPLATECH reached it. 92 minutes into the game, Flavio Danel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ceferino Calvet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eleuterio Jorrin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RIVPLATECH had won after a very even match.
