Santos Rafel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Virila, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Santos Rafel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Virila went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Santos Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Virila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Montez charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Montez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barcelona V. Paranacito getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cosme Montez hit a great ball. Erasmo Dantel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Barcelona V. Paranacito got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Jacob. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Jacob in the 28th minute of play forced Palo's goalkeeper Santos Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Baldomero Virila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palo's Santos Rafel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Palo's Manuel Sergi got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Palo got a freekick which was hit by David Eguntsenti. Ivan Quinten hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Bautista in the 41st minute of play forced Barcelona V. Paranacito's goalkeeper Jesus Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zeledon Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Palo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barcelona V. Paranacito were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Virila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesus Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Bautista in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Zeledon Viator left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 58th minute Angelino Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Virila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Apolo Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Angelino Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Barcelona V. Paranacito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Cuartio to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Cuartio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Virila in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barcelona V. Paranacito's Cosme Montez got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute Angelino Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
