Arnoldo Roland scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Frascuelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Ignacio Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Roca's Cecilio Gines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Roca from getting a goal against them. Cecilio Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Nisio struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ariel Frascuelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Roca. In the 24th match minute, Sportivo Capucha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Macias to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Gines having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Florentino Lugo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cecilio Gines, 1-1. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sportivo Capucha! In the 35th minute, Alfonso Patxi made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Frascuelo. Sportivo Capucha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Roca's zone, Augusto Napier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Gines came out of the goal and Augusto Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ariel Frascuelo came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Roca's Eustacio Nisio. But to his dismay, Eustacio Nisio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Florentino Lugo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Gines. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Lugo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Augusto Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Sportivo Capucha's goalkeeper Ariel Frascuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Roland. After 61 minutes, Jonathan Fidencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Capucha and the Deportivo Roca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Jonathan Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Frascuelo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Arnoldo Roland sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Napier in the 67th minute of the match. Eustacio Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ariel Frascuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Napier took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Gines. Cecilio Gines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 89 minutes into the game, Jonathan Fidencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Cecilio Gines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Roca's zone, Augusto Napier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Gines came out of the goal and Augusto Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
