Anastasio Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Txomin having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Zeledon Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pueblito AFC and the JESU FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Pueblito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Txomin having to interfere. Tomas Arixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Timoteo Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Pueblito AFC's Ambrosio Calisto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Timoteo Baristo. Timoteo Baristo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 33rd play minute Tomas Arixo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Timoteo Baristo. 2-0. If Anastasio Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Anastasio Otoniel came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the JESU FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Otoniel couldn't finish the play. Anastasio Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Calisto to make the kick off. JESU FUTBOL CLUB were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Pueblito AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severiano Hibai took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Severiano Hibai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Froilan Txomin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 55 minutes of play, Pueblito AFC's Ambrosio Calisto made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timoteo Baristo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, JESU FUTBOL CLUB's Domingo Rius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Froilan Txomin. Froilan Txomin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Ambrosio Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Calisto in the 71st minute of play forced JESU FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Timoteo Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomas Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pueblito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Arixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pueblito AFC's Froilan Txomin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pueblito AFC from getting a goal against them. Severiano Hibai charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Hibai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severiano Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Domingo Rius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Froilan Txomin made a huge save. Timoteo Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Arixo in the 95th minute of play. JESU FUTBOL CLUB's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
