Echeverría's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Dolfos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gabriel Cesario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Sandalio made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Orlanda made a kick off. Rodolfo Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Cesario in the 55th minute of the match. Echeverría's Gabriel Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Paso got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Blanco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Orlanda in the 61st minute of play forced Echeverría's goalkeeper Remigio Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Paso got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Azeari. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Vergaray in the 65th minute of play forced Paso's goalkeeper Rodolfo Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Remigio Ovando came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paso's Narciso Orlanda. But to his dismay, Narciso Orlanda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Cipriano Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Cirilo Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Narciso Orlanda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echeverría's Remigio Ovando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Mogel's late challenge caught a Paso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Mogel helped the player get up and apologised. Echeverría's Gabriel Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Paso getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Isaac Libertad hit a great ball.
