Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) ORION's Jeronimo Rainerio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to ORION getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Aquilino Ciano hit a great ball. Cosme Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th of the match, Jeronimo Rainerio tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Cosme Santikurtz got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Anibal Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ORION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Elorri couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Evaristo Pudes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jeronimo Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. ORION's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Rainerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Orsino FC's goalkeeper Cosme Santikurtz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Ciano. Cosme Santikurtz was a little too slow when Jeronimo Rainerio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Orsino FC's Evaristo Pudes got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cosme Santikurtz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Rainerio's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Anibal Elorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cosme Santikurtz made a huge save. In the 38th minute of the match ORION got a corner. Orsino FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clodoveo Salomone ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ORION's corner Clodoveo Salomone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cosme Santikurtz quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Rainerio in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Santikurtz saved Orsino FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Orsino FC's zone, Nestor Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Santikurtz came out of the goal and Nestor Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 49 minutes into the match, ORION's Jeronimo Rainerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Santikurtz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo Pudes to strike the kick off in the second half. Anibal Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aquilino Ciano came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the ORION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Ciano couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Maximo Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Pudes's late challenge caught a ORION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Pudes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Orsino FC's Evaristo Pudes got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jeronimo Rainerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Rainerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cosme Santikurtz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anibal Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cosme Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Ciano in the 86th minute of play forced Orsino FC's goalkeeper Cosme Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match ORION got a corner. Orsino FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clodoveo Salomone ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anibal Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cosme Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Rainerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. ORION walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
