Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basilio Gerazan started the match with the kick off. Basilio Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Celestino Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benigno Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Karabana FC's Amadeo Cheche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Honesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Basilio Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Karabana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Felipo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Felipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Lucio Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Barrionuevo having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match, Basilio Gerazan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celestino Barrionuevo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Simon Furman's late challenge caught a Ciudadela AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Furman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ciudadela AFC booed when Karabana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Furman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Teobaldo Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Cheche in the 44th minute of play forced Ciudadela AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Cheche in the 46th minute of the match. When Severo Ibon fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudadela AFC's protests and gave Severo Ibon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Severo Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Cheche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Barrionuevo having to interfere. A collision led to Karabana FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rigoberto Gorri hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Karabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Gerazan came free, but Celestino Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Benigno Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Tiniebra struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Celestino Barrionuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudadela AFC. Benigno Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Barrionuevo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ciudadela AFC defense, Teobaldo Roderigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Honesto. The Ciudadela AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Honesto should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciudadela AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Honesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severo Ibon got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Karabana FC booed when Ciudadela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Karabana FC's Teobaldo Roderigo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Honesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Karabana FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
