Laureano Rumaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Honesto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cosme Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Honesto having to interfere. The supporters of Remes booed when Ciudadela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Neron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ruperto Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Benigno Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Carlomagno in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Honesto saved Ciudadela AFC from getting behind. Basilio Gerazan might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Sanduru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Gerazan ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Tiniebra scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Sanduru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basilio Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Teodosio Sanduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Carlomagno made a kick off. Ruperto Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Neron in the 53rd minute of the match. Victor Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Victor Carlomagno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ruperto Honesto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the match, Victor Carlomagno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruperto Honesto. Ciudadela AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Carlomagno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Benigno Tiniebra struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Teodosio Sanduru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudadela AFC. Generoso Oliviero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Honesto having to interfere. The referee ignored Ciudadela AFC's protests and gave Basilio Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ciudadela AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Basilio Gerazan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ciudadela AFC defense, Cosme Neron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Honesto. The Ciudadela AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Honesto should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Remes's Victor Carlomagno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Honesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 86 minutes into the game, Benjamin Urbasa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciudadela AFC the free kick. A collision led to Remes getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Benjamin Urbasa hit a great ball. Cosme Neron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ruperto Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victor Carlomagno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Remes had won after a very even match.
