Feliberto Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Gabrio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Teobaldo Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrial AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Gabrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cristobal Gitano fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Le Morondaga's protests and gave Cristobal Gitano a yellow card for diving instead. Cristobal Gitano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristobal Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le Morondaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Gitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Tiburcio Rutenio from a close distance when the talented Paulino Naike managed to make a qualified save. Barrial AFC's players were relieved. Cornelio Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isidoro Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Naike to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Rutenio in the 52nd minute of play forced Barrial AFC's goalkeeper Paulino Naike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Naike might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Gabrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Naike ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cornelio Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
