Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Barrial AFC's Isidoro Naike started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Delta R.C.'s Paulino Leoncio got a free kick in the 5th minute. Teobaldo Bermudo scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Maxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Naike in the 11th minute of play. Teobaldo Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Maxin having to interfere. Isidoro Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Joel Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Vimaro in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Naike saved Barrial AFC from getting behind. In the 29th minute of the match Aristides Quilino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Naike showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Naike in the 31st minute of play forced Delta R.C.'s goalkeeper Joel Maxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Paulino Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Vimaro was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Delta R.C.'s Nereo Vimaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Naike narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauro Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Paulino Naike didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delta R.C.. 65 minutes into the match, Delta R.C.'s Mauro Vimaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Naike narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Isidoro Naike notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Delta R.C.'s Joel Maxin. Joel Maxin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delta R.C.'s Joel Maxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Naike in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute Mauro Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mauro Vimaro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Delta R.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Vimaro couldn't finish the play. Joel Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Naike in the 88th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Bermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Maxin. Delta R.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Bermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Delta R.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
