Gavino Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Eufrasio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Clemente Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concepción AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Maiorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Eufrasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavino Chorche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Zeledon Eufrasio made a huge save. Clemente Maiorga might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Eufrasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Maiorga ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelino Betadur took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Pinto. Sixto Pinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sixto Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Betadur in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Concepción AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Benicio Colon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Concepción AFC's Sixto Pinto didn't even have to move. After 64 minutes, Abelardo Lluterio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deluga Sport and the Concepción AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deluga Sport's Zeledon Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Maiorga in the 65th minute of play. Angelino Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
