Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Duarte in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Eusko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justino Eusko came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Urtzi could save by the left post. Sixto Eusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Arotza in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Cobres's goalkeeper Rodrigo Urtzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Basajaun. Filomeno Abar took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Eusko. Sixto Eusko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 24 played minutes Cobres got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Camerino. After 28 played minutes, Arsenal's Freddy Primeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Urtzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsenal reached it. Cobres's Rodrigo Urtzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Cobres from getting a goal against them. Dante Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angelino Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Fidel Camerino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixto Eusko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sixto Eusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal's zone, Angelino Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Eusko came out of the goal and Angelino Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cobres's Rodrigo Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Eusko in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Justino Eusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cobres made a substitution. Nemesio Santxol replaced Jeronimo Aznaro. In the 76th minute, Filomeno Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Angelino Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Arsenal booed when Cobres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Roman Victoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobres the free kick. 91 minutes into the game, one of Arsenal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
