The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Clemencin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cacereño's Omar Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Elazar made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Omar Cordarin sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Ascensión AFC's Rodolfo Clemencin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Duardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Clemencin struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Fidel Duardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascensión AFC. After some careless play in the Cacereño defense, Rodolfo Clemencin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Duardo. The Cacereño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Duardo should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Cosme Blai notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cacereño's Fidel Duardo. Fidel Duardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cacereño's Fidel Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Blai in the 87th minute of play. Fidel Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Clemencin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cacereño booed when Ascensión AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Amado Gonsalvo in the 98th minute of play was well struck, but Valentin Elazar made a really good save at the right post.
