Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Pablo Rodas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Millano. Pilar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Rodas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Ixona in the 10th minute of play forced Pilar FC's goalkeeper Adrian Millano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Pilar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Gergori to maneuver through the defense. El Trueno Verde's Adrian Ixona got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Millano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Ixona in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Adrian Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Millano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Ricardo Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Primeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Adrian Millano made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goalkeeper Adrian Millano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Generoso Buinton. With a little luck, Pilar FC's Adrian Millano got control of the ball when Generoso Buinton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Generoso Buinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Generoso Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, El Trueno Verde's Generoso Buinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Millano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Gergori during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Pilar FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Gergori. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Ixona was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Todor's late challenge caught a Pilar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Todor helped the player get up and apologised. El Trueno Verde's Adrian Ixona got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Benjamin Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Millano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Buinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adrian Millano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Pierres during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Pilar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Pierres to maneuver through the defense. During the 63rd minute of the match Benjamin Todor completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benjamin Todor a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, El Trueno Verde's Benjamin Todor got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Trueno Verde's zone, Marcelo Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Aragones came out of the goal and Marcelo Gergori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Pablo Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Trueno Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Rodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pilar FC's zone, Adrian Ixona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Millano came out of the goal and Adrian Ixona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pablo Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Ixona hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the El Trueno Verde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
