The supporters of Charras booed when Chipaté was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Aires, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Baldomiro Gamus kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Baldomiro Gamus fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chipaté's protests and gave Baldomiro Gamus a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chipaté! Haroldo Franco came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Chipaté's Hector Vargas. But to his dismay, Hector Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hector Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Franco having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Naelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Franco was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Lorenzo Azevedo got his second yellow card in the match during the 49th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Charras booed when Chipaté was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 minutes Chipaté's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damaso Aires who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Naelio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Edelmiro Eriz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Faustino Froila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Eriz in the 66th minute of the match. Chipaté's Ricardo Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Naelio could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Haroldo Franco however easily saved by the left post. When Fulgencio Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Chipaté fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Palos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Ricardo Naelio in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 86 minutes into the match, Charras's Arnaldo Garaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Froila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnaldo Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Lehen's late challenge caught a Charras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Lehen helped the player get up and apologised. Edelmiro Eriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 minutes of play Chipaté's Maximo Lehen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 97th minute, Maximo Lehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
