Copacabana FC's Teofilo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Vincent in the 29th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Copacabana FC's Hernan Merexildo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Chico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Merexildo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Yeruá FC's goalkeeper Maximino Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Salamon. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Salamon got free with Maximino Chico in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Enzo Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Mede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Danilo Salamon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Chico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Danilo Salamon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Maximino Chico made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Merexildo in the 65th minute of play forced Yeruá FC's goalkeeper Maximino Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Copacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Fernandez came free, but Teofilo Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Maximino Chico, was totally fooled by Copacabana FC's Ramon Ulizes, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Javier Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yeruá FC's protests and gave Javier Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Yeruá FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Vincent. 88 minutes into the match, Yeruá FC's Enzo Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Mede narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Danilo Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yeruá FC's Javier Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yeruá FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hernan Merexildo 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Copacabana FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yeruá FC.
