Anacleto Iaki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Generoso Miro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Olando was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Olando in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Primitivo Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Gilberto Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Olando, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gilberto Tino made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Pastor Virila sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Olando in the 64th minute of play forced Buitres F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilberto Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
