Prudencio Nuno shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Higinio Iban was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 28th minute, Alfredo Cordarryl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Higinio Iban. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to The Pink Panther getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Prudencio Nuno hit a great ball. Alfredo Cordarryl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Paulino Serafo in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Higinio Iban, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

When Cienaguita's Bonifacio Cordarin in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hugo Cordairo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Fraco. The Pink Panther's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Vinicio Formerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Formerio in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aristides Fraco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Formerio got free with Aristides Fraco in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Iban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Cordarryl in the 83rd minute of play. Hugo Camerino charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Camerino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes The Pink Panther got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Camerino. In the 88th minute, Cienaguita's Bonifacio Cordarin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aristides Fraco. Aristides Fraco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Paulino Serafo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Iban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Serafo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Cienaguita defense, Alfredo Cordarryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Iban. The Cienaguita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Iban should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Pink Panther fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cienaguita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
