The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Ilazki was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Geronimo Caetano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. A.S Città di Conegliano's Bruno Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Gaskon in the 10th minute of play. Roman Bizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Eyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. A.S Città di Conegliano's Geronimo Caetano got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erasmo Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ricardo Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Eyague came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carolina FC's Leopoldo Gaskon. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Gaskon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Carolina FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Ilazki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Ekialde. Leopoldo Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Eyague having to interfere. Leopoldo Gaskon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Eyague having to make a save. Bruno Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Gaskon in the 46th minute of the match. After some careless play in the A.S Città di Conegliano defense, Roman Bizi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Eyague. The A.S Città di Conegliano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Eyague should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Bizi to make the kick off. When Leopoldo Gaskon, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bruno Eyague was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Roman Bizi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bruno Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Bizi in the 60th minute of the match. Erasmo Ekialde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ricardo Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mauricio Egoi fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carolina FC's protests and gave Mauricio Egoi a yellow card for diving instead. Mauricio Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Erasmo Ekialde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Ilazki having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Mauricio Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leopoldo Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute.
