Maximino Santxol charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Santxol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, one of Gonzo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gonzo FC. The referee gave Bife a caballo F.C a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anier Tabby, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gonzo FC's Zeledon Jaume. 0-1. Zeledon Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Pasqual in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ignacio Erramu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Jaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Pasqual struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zeledon Jaume didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bife a caballo F.C. With a little luck, Bife a caballo F.C's Arnulfo Matei got control of the ball when Dante Ilixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Gonzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Erramu came free, but Zeledon Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Fabio Argider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Argider, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ignacio Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Argider stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rigoberto Indartsu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Gonzo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Indartsu couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Gonzo FC's Zeledon Jaume got control of the ball when Ignacio Erramu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Bife a caballo F.C defense, Rigoberto Indartsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Matei. The Bife a caballo F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Matei should have stopped the shot. Gonzo FC's Zeledon Jaume proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo FC from getting a goal against them. Arnulfo Matei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Ilixo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Fabio Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Gaspar Orzaize got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 played minutes Gonzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Santxol. Bife a caballo F.C's Ignacio Erramu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bife a caballo F.C for a fine match.
