The supporters of Mechita booed when Cortadera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Braulio Argider came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mechita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Argider couldn't finish the play. Braulio Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ricardo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Rius came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mechita's Eloy Manny. But to his dismay, Eloy Manny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Donato Xabat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cortadera's Donato Xabat got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sixto Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gualterio Lesardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cortadera defense, Eloy Manny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Rius. The Cortadera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Rius should have stopped the shot. Mechita's Eloy Manny got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ricardo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Donato Xabat made the kick off in the second half. Sixto Cordarryls short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Gualterio Lesardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eloy Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ricardo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cortadera getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Maximo Porfirio hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Eloy Manny sped through Cortadera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Rius. In the 68th minute of the match Jonas Ermengol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Rius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Mechita's goalkeeper Gualterio Lesardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Cordarryl. Eloy Manny scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Rius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Donato Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cortadera fans jumped to their feet. In the 77th minute Donato Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Mechita got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Jaen. Eloy Manny took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Rius. Ricardo Rius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After having played for 89 minutes, Eloy Manny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mechita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Manny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Braulio Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mechita had played much better football throughout.
