Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donato Xabat took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Jonathan Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Sixto Cordarryl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Ignacio Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Masia de Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Gorbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Donato Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, La Masia de Avellaneda's goalkeeper Cipriano Quinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Cordarryl. Remigio Pepillo's late challenge caught a Cortadera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Pepillo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Masia de Avellaneda getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Remigio Pepillo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Gomez during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Masia de Avellaneda's Arnaldo Gomez got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ignacio Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ricardo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Cortadera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Orlanda, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Ignacio Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Masia de Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Gorbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Rius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Elequemedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Quinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Xabat in the 53rd minute of the match. Remigio Pepillo got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Masia de Avellaneda getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Remigio Pepillo hit a great ball. When Sixto Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Cortadera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Xabat in the 57th minute of play forced La Masia de Avellaneda's goalkeeper Cipriano Quinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cortadera getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rafael Quilino hit a great ball. Fidel Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Ignacio Gorbea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Rius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 74 played minutes Cortadera got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Nabar. Fidel Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Rius having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Cortadera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Hotz to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Elequemedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
