Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Roldanillo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Figueroa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Leon FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jaime Jax hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Leon FC's zone, Jose Lekubegi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Figueroa came out of the goal and Jose Lekubegi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 minutes, Benicio Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leon FC and the Guatraché AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benicio Txurio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Leon FC booed when Guatraché AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Lando didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Simon Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Leon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Lucila to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Leon FC's zone, Simon Gasteiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Figueroa came out of the goal and Simon Gasteiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Lando made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Antonio Benvido sent off a good shot on target. Edgardo Guilabertus's late challenge caught a Leon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Guilabertus helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Leon FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Lucila. Jose Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Figueroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Gasteiz to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Leon FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jaime Jax hit a great ball. Guatraché AFC's Simon Gasteiz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Lekubegi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Ciriaco Figueroa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ciriaco Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Leon FC's Baltasar Bernabel got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Jose Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Simon Gasteiz in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 83 minutes of play, Guatraché AFC's Jacobo Jorrin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Figueroa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Gasteiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciriaco Figueroa came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Gasteiz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 88th minute. Jaime Jax's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Lando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. If Antonio Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Leon FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guatraché AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guatraché AFC.
