Lisandro Austin charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Gowlan FC's zone, Anastasio Fidele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Ritchie came out of the goal and Anastasio Fidele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Acebal AFC's Cayetano Cristos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Ritchie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Gowlan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Acebal AFC's Cayetano Cristos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Ritchie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dalmacio Atauri's late challenge caught a Acebal AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Atauri helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Acebal AFC booed when Gowlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero James didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Cristos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Ritchie was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Adrian Santo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Gowlan FC:s Rigoberto Ritchie showed great skill when he stopped Amador Guillelmo:s penalty. 81 minutes into the game, Acebal AFC's Amador Guillelmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Ritchie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 89th minute, Emilio Rito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gowlan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Acebal AFC's goalkeeper Pascual Baladi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Cayetano Cristos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Rigoberto Ritchie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 99th minute, Cayetano Cristos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
