Jeremias Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Todor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jeremias Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes East London United got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Garin. Jeremias Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Abechuco in the 9th minute of play. East London United's Jeremias Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Abechuco in the 12th minute of play. Jeremias Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Abechuco in the 24th minute of the match. Alejandro Distiratsu in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moises Maju, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Jacinto Jago took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Moises Maju to make any attempt to save it. Arnaldo Emenon hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Constantino Furman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C's goalkeeper Moises Maju had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Distiratsu. After 41 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Emenon. Jacinto Jago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moises Maju came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Jago slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

INDEPENDIENTE F.C's Moises Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Jago in the 55th minute of play. Jacinto Jago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes East London United got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Garin. East London United's Jeremias Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Abechuco in the 75th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Abel Henric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacinto Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Distiratsu in the 90th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. East London United fully deserved thier win.
