Fermin Arnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Chap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Humberto Pelayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bremen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Béccar FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bremen FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Rodrigo Chap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Papo in the 20th minute of play. Fermin Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Chap having to interfere. Fermin Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rodrigo Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Anibal Seguinus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Chap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bremen FC's Eloy Frances got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bremen FC booed when Béccar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fermin Arnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Bremen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Arnas came free, but Rodrigo Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Béccar FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Clodoveo Matei hit a great ball. Camilo Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Fliz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Urbasa in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Fliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eloy Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Fliz having to interfere. Anibal Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Chap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Arnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Bremen FC's Rodrigo Chap got control of the ball when Anibal Seguinus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eloy Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Anselmo Fliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Eloy Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bremen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Frances was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Fliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
