La Baguete F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Damaso Jaizki made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Solustiano. Necaxa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Romeo Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, La Baguete F.C.'s Damaso Jaizki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Solustiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Hats to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Damaso Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Solustiano was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Blas Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Laurendi having to interfere. Fabio Hats took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Laurendi. Saul Laurendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Blas Jacob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Laurendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Benjamin Solustiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Jaizki in the 70th minute of the match. Blas Jacob might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Laurendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Jacob ran back to his position shaking his head. Necaxa's Blas Jacob got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La Baguete F.C.'s zone, Fabio Hats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Laurendi came out of the goal and Fabio Hats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Hats in the 81st minute of play forced La Baguete F.C.'s goalkeeper Saul Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Romeo Bautista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Necaxa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Baguete F.C. the free kick. Romeo Bautista hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Jaizki in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Solustiano saved Necaxa from getting behind. A collision led to Necaxa getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eustacio Jerrold hit a great ball. Necaxa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damaso Jaizki 98 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Baguete F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
