Ciro Gombal's late challenge caught a Cuervo de Roque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cuervo de Roque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Rudolfo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eliseo Astudillos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Luciano Cresitobalo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Vitin was the one to do the kick off.
