A beautiful save bye Patay FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alonzo Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Chabier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Benvide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Delmiro Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Alonzo Benvide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patay FC. In the 17th minute, Teo Chabier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Benvide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Patay FC's Justino Tano got a free kick in the 27th minute. Froilan Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Montay hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Danilo Sagrario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Froilan Maore made a huge save. When Arturo Fernado came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Megadeth F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Fernado couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Fernado in the 39th minute of play forced Patay FC's goalkeeper Froilan Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Delmiro Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Teo Chabier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Patay FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Montay in the 74th minute of play forced Megadeth F.C.'s goalkeeper Alonzo Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Fernandes in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Gonzalo Primo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonzo Benvide skillfully saved the ball. If Delmiro Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Patay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Sagrario came free, but Froilan Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Teo Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Chabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Patay FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Patay FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
