Vladimiro Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Fernandes having to interfere. In the 5th minute Genaro Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Carlomagno hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Pelayo in the 21st minute of play forced Tormenta SC's goalkeeper Leonel Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Remigio Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Crespo booed when Tormenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Dabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vladimiro Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Crespo's goalkeeper Remigio Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Tallia. Honorato Orkatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Leocadio in the 40th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Leocadio in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Fernandes saved Tormenta SC from getting behind. Honorato Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Remigio Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Orkatz to make the kick off. Honorato Orkatz's late challenge caught a Crespo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Orkatz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tormenta SC's Honorato Orkatz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Leonel Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Crespo's Genaro Pelayo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonel Fernandes. That made the score 0-1 after 58 minutes of play. Vladimiro Leocadio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Leonel Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tormenta SC's Leonel Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Tormenta SC from getting a goal against them. Tormenta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Orkatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ramon Tallia fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tormenta SC's protests and gave Ramon Tallia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Crespo booed when Tormenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Tallia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tormenta SC's Leonel Fernandes got control of the ball when Vladimiro Leocadio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remigio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Orkatz in the 86th minute of play. Honorato Orkatz struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Remigio Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tormenta SC. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jeremias Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tormenta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tormenta SC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Crespo to win.
