MADERO CITY's Matias Guillem got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Lehen having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Matias Guillem made a precise shot to the right of Placido Lehen. C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Silverio Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Lehen having to interfere. Enrique Bortzaioriz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Anastasio Cuartio might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Lehen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Cuartio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Matias Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot. MADERO CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Guillem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Lehen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 minutes, Anastasio Cuartio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MADERO CITY and the C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MADERO CITY getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Anastasio Cuartio hit a great ball. When Silverio Txindoki came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the MADERO CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Txindoki couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE defense, Anastasio Cuartio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Lehen. The C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Lehen should have stopped the shot. Placido Lehen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by MADERO CITY's Anastasio Cuartio. But to his dismay, Anastasio Cuartio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half MADERO CITY were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Joey to make the kick off. Anastasio Cuartio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Joey. Matias Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Txindoki in the 64th minute of play forced C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE's goalkeeper Placido Lehen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Anastasio Cuartio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when MADERO CITY's Matias Guillem in the 70th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Placido Lehen was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE through an amazing save. After having played for 72 minutes, Silverio Txindoki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MADERO CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Txindoki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Anastasio Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Placido Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Txindoki in the 87th minute of play. Anastasio Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Placido Lehen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MADERO CITY! Horacio Walme shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Enrique Bortzaioriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over MADERO CITY could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.S.D.M.CHAÑARENSE throughout the match.
