Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Meme f.c's Nicanor Salvadore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Meme f.c's Celedonio Petri got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Omar Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Abalos having to interfere. Filomeno Jax charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Jax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Luján FC booed when Meme f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Salvadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meme f.c's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cecilio Vargas in the 19th minute. Meme f.c's Cecilio Vargas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gerardo Abalos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicanor Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Ubaldo Txatxu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Osvaldo Viviano, passed just outside the right post. Ismael Prejun kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Piearres to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Meme f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Piearres came free, but Osvaldo Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Jax got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 56th minute, Filomeno Jax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Salvadore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Abalos having to make a save. Nicanor Salvadore's late challenge caught a Luján FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Salvadore helped the player get up and apologised. Nicanor Salvadore hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Piearres in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Viviano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Piearres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Osvaldo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute of the match Enzo Diaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Viviano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Omar Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meme f.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Etxepare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meme f.c's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
