Osvaldo Viviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Leobardo in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Isidro Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustamante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Leobardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bustamante's Artemio Urtungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Salvadore in the 41st minute of play. Armando Paskal charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Paskal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Paskal kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Omar Etxepare came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Meme f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Etxepare couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Meme f.c getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Omar Etxepare hit a great ball. Omar Etxepare stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Bustamante's defenders and the ball went out. Meme f.c appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Artemio Urtungo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Etxepare in the 69th minute. If Omar Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Isidro Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
