But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Gumaro couldn't finish the play. Adan Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Alfonso in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Alfonso in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Ayala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Hori's late challenge caught a ROSARIO CENTRAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Hori helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave ROSARIO CENTRAL a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ildefonso Vermudo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luxury FC's Americo Locaio. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Ricardo Gumaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adan Ayala was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 39th minute, ROSARIO CENTRAL's Astor Udalaitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Astor Udalaitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ROSARIO CENTRAL protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Astor Udalaitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in ROSARIO CENTRAL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Maximo Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Adan Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Luxury FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Suarez made a kick off. Fabian Suarez struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Americo Locaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROSARIO CENTRAL. After a rather tough play, Luxury FC's Abel Lando got a free kick in the 66th minute. Americo Locaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Suarez in the 76th minute of the match. If Fabian Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Alfonso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adan Ayala firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maximo Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Adan Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ROSARIO CENTRAL's Fabian Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ROSARIO CENTRAL getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Juan Ler hit a great ball. ROSARIO CENTRAL's Adan Ayala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save ROSARIO CENTRAL from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Gumaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Ayala having to interfere.
