The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Sanchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Fiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herminio Paulin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Fidel Eate's late challenge caught a Cachilo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Eate helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cachilo FC booed when Maurinho Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes, Basilio Danel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachilo FC and the Maurinho Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angel Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Sanchez having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Jonatan Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maurinho Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Justin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Justin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Sanchez saved Cachilo FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC's Igor Afonso got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Igor Afonso fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachilo FC's protests and gave Igor Afonso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maurinho Team booed when Cachilo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Cresitobalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Diego Fiz made a huge save. Joel Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Justin in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The crowd rose to their feet as Angel Amor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Sanchez. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Angel Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Joel Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Victoro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Cachilo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonatan Justin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cachilo FC's Joel Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Eate in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Cachilo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Che to maneuver through the defense. Diego Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Cresitobalo in the 87th minute of the match. Cachilo FC's Joel Sanchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Cachilo FC from getting a goal against them. Igor Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Maurinho Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
