In the 3rd match minute, Deportivo Purotrozo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Arias to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Noe made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Cornelio Leobardo sent off a good shot on target. If Armando Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Armando Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Purotrozo's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Roldanillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Guillerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Guillerme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Roldanillo in the 18th minute of play. Aquilino Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Enrique Guillerme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Armando Roldanillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Guillerme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Dale Masa got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Napier. Cornelio Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Dale Masa's Aquilino Elodio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Deportivo Purotrozo's Armando Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Ixona hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Deportivo Purotrozo's Guaberto Herensuge shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Enrique Guillerme but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Dale Masa's Eloy Napier got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Igor Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teo Meder fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dale Masa's protests and gave Teo Meder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Teo Meder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Igor Weterio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Guillerme. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 73rd minute, Anier Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Noe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Leobardo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. During the 80th minute of the match Teo Meder completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teo Meder a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Dale Masa getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Teo Meder hit a great ball. Enrique Guillerme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Weterio's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes, Santiago Ixona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dale Masa and the Deportivo Purotrozo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Purotrozo booed when Dale Masa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes Deportivo Purotrozo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Sidoro who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Leopoldo Sidoro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Purotrozo's Honorato Noe did a great save. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Leobardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Noe was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Dale Masa's Enrique Guillerme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Dale Masa from getting a goal against them.
