Joel Vistruario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Artemio Musko came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Elewa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Musko couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Victorica getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Atilano Baraquiel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Macerio in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Fortun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute of the match, Baltasar Galoer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eriberto Veto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eriberto Veto made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Baltasar Galoer sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Fortun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Macerio in the 41st minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Macerio made a kick off. Artemio Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorica's Jonas Fortun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Victorica from getting a goal against them. Arnoldo Casomiro's late challenge caught a Elewa F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Casomiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Victorica got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Casomiro. Elewa F.C's Eriberto Veto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Vistruario in the 58th minute of play. Artemio Musko charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Musko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Elewa F.C's Artemio Musko got a free kick in the 60th minute. Isaac Gorbea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Victorica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Elewa F.C:s goal. The referee gave Elewa F.C a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enzo Francho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Victorica's Jonas Fortun. 0-1. With a little luck, Victorica's Jonas Fortun got control of the ball when Artemio Musko tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Galoer in the 80th minute of play forced Elewa F.C's goalkeeper Eriberto Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Elewa F.C getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Placido Edur hit a great ball. Alfredo Unai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Veto. Elewa F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Victorica's zone, Haroldo Macerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Fortun came out of the goal and Haroldo Macerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Elewa F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
