In the 11thth minute of the game Ruben Frasquito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmitas FC's Severino Orixe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Seber's late challenge caught a Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Seber helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juventus booed when Palmitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Juventus's Severino Orixe threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruben Frasquito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Frasquito in the 19th minute of play forced Palmitas FC's goalkeeper Severino Orixe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Valentine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Sabino was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ruben Frasquito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Severino Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juventus's Ruben Frasquito was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 65th play minute Siro Oroitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Damaso Sabino. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Frasquito in the 73rd minute of play forced Palmitas FC's goalkeeper Severino Orixe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Valentine came free, but Damaso Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Juventus's Alfredo Montxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Orixe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Alfredo Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Montxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Palmitas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
