Jonathan Segio charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Segio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, San Clemente F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Segio to maneuver through the defense. Lázaro Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Feliberto Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Tinoco's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Unai came free, but Feliberto Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Tinoco got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Harkaitz. A hard shot 20 in the game by Maximino Chabier from a close distance when the talented Guaberto Abel managed to make a qualified save. San Clemente F. C.'s players were relieved. Guaberto Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Quexal in the 21st minute of the match. Guaberto Abel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Chabier in the 26th minute. Serafino Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Serafino Tohias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Escobar was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When Lázaro Unai came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the San Clemente F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Unai couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Serafino Tohias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Quexal made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Oscar Quexal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinoco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Quexal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lázaro Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Abel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Tohias in the 64th minute of play forced Tinoco's goalkeeper Feliberto Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Espiridion hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Oscar Quexal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Maximino Chabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Guaberto Abel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliberto Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Feliberto Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Escobar made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Lázaro Unai sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, San Clemente F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Chabier came free, but Guaberto Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oscar Quexal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tinoco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
