Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Damaso Lano made the kick off which started today's match. Albano Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ixidor in the 4th minute of play. Israel Ourente charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Ourente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Erubiel Ixidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erubiel Ixidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Albano Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Ixidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Ticho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Ixidor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Evelio Boni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albano Ticho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Ixidor in the 41st minute. If Israel Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Casillas's Albano Ticho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Lano in the 53rd minute of play. Godofredo Abancens charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Abancens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Godofredo Abancens hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Concepción's Damaso Lano, in the 58th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Concepción. After 60 played minutes Casillas got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Abancens. In the 65th minute, Jairo Errapel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Roman Iratxo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Iratxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Roman Iratxo hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Karmel to maneuver through the defense. If Damaso Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erubiel Ixidor came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Ixidor couldn't finish the play. The Concepción fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Concepción's Damaso Lano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 79 minutes into the match, Casillas's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Lano came free, but Albano Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Ourente hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Eusebio Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Casillas's zone, Erubiel Ixidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Ticho came out of the goal and Erubiel Ixidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albano Ticho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Lano's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The supporters of Concepción booed when Casillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Salomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Concepción's Roman Iratxo tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Erubiel Ixidor took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Ticho. Albano Ticho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Casillas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Concepción.
