In the 8th minute, Aquiles Goiz made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Eneas. FCmerquil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Aquiles Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Eneas having to interfere. Edgard Eneas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Eugenio Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sida Futbol Club's Epifanio Abarca got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Sixto Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Mambru in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Bermudez saved Sida Futbol Club from getting behind. Sida Futbol Club's Maximiliano Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Sida Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Tiadoro made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Aquiles Goiz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgard Eneas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 56th minute of the match Bernardo Chumo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Eneas skillfully saved the ball. Maximiliano Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sida Futbol Club's Epifanio Abarca got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Epifanio Abarca off the ground. Epifanio Abarca hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sida Futbol Club's goalkeeper Maximiliano Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Sida Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Chumo. FCmerquil's Donato Abeijon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sida Futbol Club. Aquiles Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Eneas having to interfere. After some careless play in the FCmerquil defense, Orlando Matro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Eneas. The FCmerquil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Eneas should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sida Futbol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
