But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Abalos couldn't finish the play. Edelmiro Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Abalos in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Niceto Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melchor Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Abalos might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Chuan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Abalos ran back to his position shaking his head. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Defensores de Bianca! Edelmiro Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Alonso in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Abalos in the 43rd minute of play forced Defensores de Bianca's goalkeeper Edelmiro Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Niceto Alonso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 49 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Edelmiro Chuan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Beat to make the kick off. Orlando Fix's late challenge caught a Defensores de Bianca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Fix helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Defensores de Bianca booed when LOS TOTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lisandro Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Gerardo Abalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Defensores de Bianca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOS TOTOS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
