Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baldomiro Gaitan kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Atlético de Rafaela's Baldomiro Gaitan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adan Lertxun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Celestino Henrico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barborín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético de Rafaela the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Barborín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético de Rafaela:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Atlético de Rafaela. Cristo Elia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adan Lertxun. 0-2. Enzo Maule made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Leonel Carlomagno sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Jacobo Richie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enzo Maule, 1-2. 2-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Jacobo Richie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joaquin Behe's late challenge caught a Barborín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Behe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético de Rafaela getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Joaquin Behe hit a great ball. Marcelo Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Adan Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Gaitan in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barborín's Isidoro Orkatz got a free kick in the 30th minute. Atlético de Rafaela's Enzo Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Richie in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Guido Distiratsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Richie in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Maule prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adan Lertxun came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Rafaela's Marcelo Aurken. But to his dismay, Marcelo Aurken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Baldomiro Gaitan's late challenge caught a Barborín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Gaitan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético de Rafaela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Baldomiro Gaitan hit a great ball. Enzo Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Richie was the one to do the kick off. Enzo Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Richie in the 56th minute of the match. Joaquin Behe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Lertxun having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Baldomiro Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adan Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomiro Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Guido Distiratsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adan Lertxun. Barborín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Distiratsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. 86 minutes into the match, Atlético de Rafaela's Baldomiro Gaitan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adan Lertxun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Gaitan in the 91st minute of play forced Barborín's goalkeeper Adan Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Richie charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Richie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Barborín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Richie to maneuver through the defense. Atlético de Rafaela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
